Zambia team arrives safely in Johannesburg

Filed Under News by Pastor Meredith

The St. Paul’s Zambia Mission Team arrived safe and sound in Johannesburg, South Africa, this evening (July 3) around 5:15pm. After a very long flight and a stop for refueling in Dakar, Senegal, the team was happy to be on the ground. The plane ride over involved three full meals and many, many movies. Once we arrived in South Africa we made our way through immigration and to the City Lodge Hotel where we will spend the night. We had a wonderful, three-hour dinner at the Mediterranean and Sushi restaurant. Now it’s off to bed before leaving bright and early tomorrow morning to head back to the airport and from there on to Livingstone, Zambia. Please continue to keep the team in your prayers. Stay tuned for an update once we reach Livingstone and the Sons of Thunder Orphanage. Communication is quite limited, so please rest assured that the team is doing well. In this case, no news is definitely good news!
