Sunday, November 23rd

Please join us in the Fellowship Hall after the 11 oʼclock service this Sunday, November 23rd to learn about Advent.

Weʼll make an Advent Wreath for your home, and weʼll talk about different ways you can observe this special time of hope and anticipation. Kids are welcome to attend!

Space is limited, so please contact Lisa Wackler at gatorwack@yahoo.com if you would like to attend. A materials fee of $17 is requested to cover the cost of the wreath-making materials. (Extra sets of candles are also available for those who made a wreath last year. The cost of the candle sets is $7.)

A team of volunteers is now being formed from St. Paul’s and First Trinity Lutheran Church to provide hurricane relief for Galveston, Beaumont and Houston, Texas. We are looking to make the trip to Texas the week of January 18. The work might involve anything to everything, from clean up to rebuilding. If you are willing to help our brothers and sisters who were victimized by Hurricane Ike, or if you have questions, please contact Pastor Omholt at 202-966-5489 or tomholt@stpaulslutherandc.com.
