Fair Trade Sunday

After a summer hiatus, Fair Trade Sundays are back starting on September 21 with coffee sales after both services. Regular (drip and whole bean) coffee is available for $6 and decaf for $7. Beginning in September, we will introduce tea for $3. Expect even more products–including chocolate–in the coming months.

Fair Trade Sundays occur every Third Sunday and is done in cooperation with Lutheran World Relief’s Fair Trade Project. The goal is to make products available to St. Paul’s members that are created through Fair Trade Principles–

• CHILDREN’S RIGHTS
• WOMEN’S RIGHTS
• THE RIGHT TO ORGANIZE
• ENVIRONMENTAL RIGHTS
• INDIGENOUS RIGHTS

Bible Study Series on Philippians

Every Wednesday from Sept. 10 to Oct. 15 at 7:30pm at Cosi at Friendship Heights
Gather to explore Paul’s letter to the Philippians and find out why it is often times called the “Letter of Joy.” See what kind of wisdom about God Paul has to share with us today. Bring a Bible if you have one and simply show up! Those who would like can order food/drink. We’ll just gather informally around a few of the tables. Young Adults End of Summer Picnic

Senior High Youth Group Lock-In

Friday, Sept. 5 at 8:00pm to Saturday, Sept. 6 at 9:00am
Back by much demand is the St. Paul’s Lock-In, Senior High style. There will be the usual late night game of sardines, midnight pizza, movie and, of course, a Bible Study or two. A New Year Begins on Rally Day
