Christmas Worship at St. Paul’s

Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24
4:00pm Family Service of Holy Communion
Children and adults of all ages are encouraged to attend this interactive service that includes the telling of the Christmas story and favorite Christmas hymns. Music will be by organ, handbells and trumpet. A trumpet and organ prelude will begin at 3:45pm.

Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24
10:00pm Candlelight Service of Holy Communion
This candlelight worship service includes the telling of the Christmas story, a sermon and singing of Christmas hymns. Music will be by organ, the St. Paul’s Choir and the Cool Spring Brass. A prelude by the Coolspring Brass will begin at 9:40pm.

First Sunday of Christmas, Dec. 27
11:00am Service of Holy Communion **One Service only this Sunday**

Metro DC Synod Young Adult Happy Hour

Tuesday, Jan. 5 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Mackey’s
All young adults are invited to come kick off 2010 as the “Year of the Young Adult”. Lutheran churches across the metro DC area will be spending 2010 focusing on young adults and we are going to have a party to celebrate. Mackey’s is located at 1823 L Street NW near the Farragut North and Farragut West Metro Stations. For more information, contact Pastor Keseley.

Prime Time Fellowship for Seniors

Wednesday, Jan. 20, from 11:00am – 2:00pm in the Lower Auditorium
Prime Time will gather for its monthly luncheon and programs. Joan Hart from “Museum One” will present an overview of “Impressionism in Winter” art works from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. A delicious meal and good fellowship will be enjoyed between 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. The program from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm will be announced at a later date – watch for the information! Senior High Winter Retreat at Deep Creek Lake

Saturday, Feb. 13 at 10am—Monday, Feb. 15 at 12 noon
Senior High youth are invited for a weekend away of fun, faith and snow tubing. We will leave at 10am on Saturday morning and return by 12 noon on Monday. The cost for the weekend is $125, but scholarships are available. Registration forms and more information are available from the pastors.
