Miles Kimber guides and moderates the Explorer’s Group which covers topics such as religious studies, theology, history, and contemporary issues involving politics and religion. The discussions are stimulating, occasionally controversial, but always interesting and educational.

On Sun Sep 30, they will continue talking about various Christian denominations. Following our baseline mini-study of Lutheran tenets and theology, we will begin talking about developments that followed with Reformers such as John Calvin and others.

Previously, the Explorer’s Group had discussed the Hebrew Scriptures, known to Christians as the Old Testament. They focused on what scholars have learned about who wrote them, why, when, and some of their themes and meanings.
