Social Ministry
St. Paul’s Social Ministry responds to the needs of the congregation and the greater community, pproviding resources and advocacy for those in need such as homeless shelters for men and families, the food pantry, healing and jobs.
Care Ministry Team
St. Paul’s Care Ministry Team reaches out to the members and friends of St. Paul’s community by providing care in the form of meals, altar flowers, cards, visitation and transporation.
Food Pantry
The St. Paul’s Food Pantry is used by homeless, low-income, and people in crisis from around the metro-D.C. area. For more information, click here.

Disaster Relief

St. Paul’s Homeless Shelter
St. Paul’s operates a five-bed, year around shelter for homeless men in D.C. area. For more information, click here.
Outreach to the Children of the Holy Land
St. Paul’s provides support for children attending Lutheran schools in the Holy Land. We draw special attention to this ministry during the annual Transfiguration Sunday Luncheon.
Capital Interfaith Hospitality Network (CIHN) is an interfaith group providing shelter to homeless families in our community.
Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is a social service agency that reaches out to those in need in the DC metropolitan area.
