Worship Ministry

St. Paul’s Worship Ministry schedules the weekly services, music and special events; manages staffing for worship and liturgy (ushers, acolytes, communion assistants, lay readers, choir, greeters, and altar guild); and provides nursery attendants during service.

Pop Quiz: “How many Lutherans does it take to lead a worship service?”

Answer: “A LOT!”

It takes at least 2 acolytes, 1 crucifer, 2 communion assistants, 1 lay reader, 4 ushers, 1 greeter, 2 altar guild members, a handful of choir members, and many more people you don’t see behind the scenes!

The point is that we need your help. So please start thinking about how you can get involved in leading worship at St. Paul’s and then volunteer!

If you’re ready for the challenge or even if you’re not quite sure where your gifts might best serve, contact us and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you. We are standing by waiting to hear from you!
