A Note From Our New Evangelism Chairs!

Hello St. Paul's Lutheran Church! We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as the new co-chairs of the Evangelism Ministry. We have been attending St. Paul's since moving to the DC area in 2014. Upon our arrival, everyone at St. Paul's was incredibly generous to us. The congregation immediately welcomed our family and made us feel as if we had always been members. Like many of you, St. Paul's holds a special place in our hearts. Our three-year-old son Levi Otto (you might recognize his enthusiastic "Amens" during a service) was baptized here in 2015. In 2017, Pastor Tom also baptized our one-year-old daughter Vanne Victoria.

Our aim with the Evangelism Ministry is to ensure that everyone who visits St. Paul's has the same warm experience that we did. In future posts, we hope to explore ways we can share the "good news" with our neighbors and ensure that guests always feel welcome. A simple introduction and a handshake can go a long way! We look forward to making the most of our new positions and certainly appreciate any suggestions you may have.
