Social Ministry

Social Ministry at St. Paul’s takes place primarily at the St. Paul’s Food Pantry and its Prime Time Senior Ministry.

  • St. Paul's Food Pantry is a Proud partner of the Capital Area Food Bank, offering food to those in need on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month. Our food pantry model allows clients to “shop” for items on the first and third Saturdays of the month from 10 am - noon and is open to anyone who has a need. The pantry storage area and supplies moved into the former Domer Classroom space at the beginning of September 2022, so that the pantry now has dedicated, secure space to continue their ministry work.

  • Prime Time Ministry returned from the pandemic in March of 2022, and we have been so fortunate to continue to meet each Wednesday. A fully vaccinated group of Prime Time participants gathers each week for exercise, a pre-plated hot lunch and entertainment. All those 50+ are welcome to join in on the fun from 11 am - 2 pm each Wednesday.

The morning begins with a 60 minute exercise program tailored for seniors. The group then enjoys a catered lunch served by our loyal volunteers. At 1 pm, there is a 60 minute program which varies from musical entertainment to lectures to a group activity.

A "good will" offering is accepted to help offset the cost of the program. All are welcome!!

Pre-registration is required for meal planning purposes. If you plan to attend, please notify Joy Belew by noon on the Friday prior to each week's program. Click here for Prime Time Schedule of Events
